Week 6 of Season of the Splicer adds another seven seasonal challenges for Guardians to complete. Destiny 2 players will need to stun and defeat Champions across the system, play Override: The Tangled Shore, and defeat Vex with Shotguns in Override or Expunge.

Destiny 2 players will also need to complete the usual Path of the Splicer quest for this week to learn more about the efforts to end the Endless Night. The last couple of weeks have seen Saint-14 reflect on his past actions against the Eliksni.

Here are the seven seasonal challenges for week 6 of Season of the Splicer in Destiny 2:

Behind the Curtain

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to complete the Path of the Splicer VI quest. As usual, players need to visit the Splicer Servitor in the HELM to receive a message from Mithrax and begin the quest.

Players also need to defeat Champions anywhere in the system, but bonus progress can be earned by defeating Champions in Override and Expunge missions. Otherwise, Champions are found in some PvE activities, commonly in Legendary Lost Sectors and Nightfall Strikes on Hero difficulty or higher.

Herculean Protocol

To complete this challenge, players need to defeat the Vex Hydra boss in Override: The Tangled Shore and must defeat Vex anywhere in the system. Defeating Vex in Override missions will award bonus progress for this objective.

Eliksni Ally II

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to reach reputation rank 20 with the Splicer Servitor. This is done simply by earning Decrypted Data which is stored in a player’s inventory. Decrypted Data is earned as a reward from opening Conflux Chests in Override missions and from completing certain challenges.

Shotgun Splicer

Destiny 2 players need to defeat enemies in Override and Expunge missions with Shotguns. Bonus progress is awarded for getting rapidly defeating enemies as well. Shotgun Ammo Finder and Shotgun Scavenger Armor Mods will be very useful for completing this challenge as quickly as possible.

A Shotgun like Riiswalker from Iron Banner or the Sojourner’s Tale Slug Shotgun from the Season Pass would be good ones to use. Players should stick to using one Shotgun but could use the Exotic Legend of Acrius if they have it.

Sling the Stone…

For this challenge, players just need to stun 50 Champions by staggering, piercing, or disrupting them. Champions are commonly found in Nightfall Strikes, Legendary Lost Sectors, Override, and Expunge. To farm this challenge, a player could load into a Legendary Lost Sector and repeatedly stun the first Champion they find 50 times.

Feels Good to Be Bad

To complete this challenge, players need defeat Guardians in Gambit, with Guardian kills as an Invader awarding bonus progress. To complete this challenge quickly, players should stick with their teammates and be ready to work together to defeat enemy Invaders. Players should also focus on defending the Bank and invading as much as possible to defeat the enemy team.

The Red Hat: Beyond Legendary

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to unlock the Crucible-themed Inferno Heraldry ornament for the Null Composure Fusion Rifle by completing the “The Red Hat” quest. This quest only becomes available from Lord Shaxx once players have unlocked Null Composure. The quest is quite straightforward and is relatively easy to complete.
