With Season 13 on the way, Destiny 2's current seasonal content will be wrapping up before February. However, players who enjoyed Season of the Hunt can rest easy, because not all of it will be removed or taken down for the next season.

In its latest update, Bungie reveals that not all of Destiny 2's current seasonal content will be removed, with some sticking around longer in the game for Year 4. Bungie stated that it's working to make sure that Destiny 2's activities stick around to decrease the "fear of missing out" for players. Also, to let players who start playing the seasonal content later will have a chance to do so even after the season ends.

The list of activities sticking around in Destiny 2 includes the Wrathborn hunts, Adored quests will be available, and story missions will still be launched from a node in the Director. Crow's vendor screen from the Tangled Shore will remain, and the recent Hawkmoon exotic quest and Master harbinger activity will be available in the next season too.

Also, the Seasonal Seal and Warden title will be around, but the Seasonal Seal must still be earned by the deadline on the Bungie Rewards page, though Bungie will be adjusting the deadline due to an issue. However, some things will not be carrying over from Season 12 into Season 13 for Year 4. Crow's bounties will not be available, messages from the field will not carry over, and the Seasonal Artifact and Seasonal Pass won't be available to players either.

Bungie states that trying to keep some of the seasonal content has created a bit of a weird issue for Season of the Hunt, as it was made with the old model in mind. This is why players can still meet the new companion Crow as a vendor in Spider's lair, even though he was kicked out by his former Fallen master some time ago.

Players may also experience other "anomalies" with Crow in the new season, especially since he'll be moving to a new location, while also remaining in the Tangled Shore, to enable Season of the Hunt content from his inventory. However, Bungie assures that Destiny 2 Season 13's content will be more refined and won't have as many rough edges, as it has been designed to remain in the game throughout Year 4.

So, players will be able to enjoy seasonal content from Destiny 2 Season 12 and can expect content from Season 13 to stick around after it launches.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
