Destiny 2 players have finally beat the Zero Hour mission and reaped their rewards, which include the Outbreak Perfected catalyst and the SCRAP CF-717-91 ship from the reward schematic. Many thought the schematic would reward something sleek like the Wrath of the Machine's Nanophoenix, but instead, it was a blocky, hard-to-look-at ship. This is something unique in the Destiny universe, so for those interested in unlocking the SCRAP ship, here's how to get it.

The SCRAP CF-717-91 ship is the reward for beating the Zero Hour mission's three elemental configuration puzzles, but before that, players need to complete the mission on Heroic first to get the Catalyst. Once that is done, players can dive into the mission again to tackle the three configuration puzzles, with each one responding to the Void, Arc, and Solar elements in Destiny 2.

The first thing to note is that players MUST correspond to the elemental puzzle with the particular element of the week. At the time of this writing (May 23), it is Solar week. Ergo, players must complete the Solar puzzle before reset. Void will be next week's element, and Arc will follow after that. Knowing this, players will want to complete the first portion of Destiny 2's Zero Hour mission where enemies appear and then follow the images.

In the corner of the aforementioned area, players will pick up a bounty. This bounty requires players to find the Blue, Green, and Red keycards. These keycards will allow Destiny 2 players to interact with the terminals, and it's worth mentioning that correctly done terminals give a 15-second buff. So, players who manage to make it to the puzzle room with 5 or so minutes to spare shouldn't have to worry.

Destiny 2 players will first need to collect a readout from the two consoles and then lock the correct terminal. Again, players will have to do this for the Solar, Void, and Arc puzzles, so here's a visual infographic on how to complete each:

destiny 2 zero hour solar

destiny 2 zero hour void

destiny 2 zero hour arc

With the multiple layers and complexity of the mission, it's no surprise that Destiny 2's Zero Hour mission took 7 months to develop, but doing it all rewards players with a buff for the Outbreak Perfected and the SCRAP ship, perhaps making it all worthwhile.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
