The first Iron Banner of Destiny 2 is active in the game this week, with the special playlist dolling out tokens for players to earn, take back to the event's in-game host Lord Saladin, and collect some exclusive Iron Banner weapons and armor. A nice touch to Iron Banner is that Lord Saladin's voice replaces that of Lord Shaxx from normal Crucible matches to comment on and announce each match.

However, it appears that some of those voice lines may be bugged. Fans on the Destiny subreddit noticed it (and so has this Game Rant writer). Saladin is much more talkative in Destiny 2, and he will often comment on the performance of the player. Like normal Crucible, there are even lines specific to each class in the game.

For example, when playing as a Warlock, Saladin often makes comments about Ikora Rey, the Warlock Vanguard, and other specific dialogue lines in relation to being a Warlock. The same goes for Hunters and Titans, but the lines aren't always tied to the right class.

While playing as a Hunter, Saladin may make a comment saying, "Keep up that performance and you might replace Zavala one day." Zavala is the Vanguard of the Titan class, so this is clearly out of place. The same can happen to Warlocks, with lines about being a good Hunter and pleasing Cayde-6.

Bungie has yet to make a comment about the issue, but those playing the game are starting to notice and share the voice lines that are being spoken out of place. It's unlikely that anything will be fixed this Iron Banner, but considering it is a monthly event, that might give Bungie time to fix the issue before next month's Iron Banner.

Speaking of Saladin's lines during Iron Banner matches, this Overwatch Easter egg from Lord Saladin is a must-see. Iron Banner ends at the next weekly reset, October 17 at 2 a.m. Pacific.

Destiny 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, and releases on October 24, 2017 for PC.
