"My name is Saint-14. They call me the greatest titan who ever lived", were his first words when left the Infinite Forest alive. Saint-14 is regarded as a legendary, comedic, and powerful Exo Guardian who valiantly fought for humanity. He was first mentioned in Destiny 1 and players finally got to see him in Curse of Osiris, but that was his dead body.

However, in the Season of Dawn in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Guardians were able to meet the legend and save his life. He now watches over Trials of Osiris in the Last City, the city he helped build.

10 His Classic Headbutting

A Grimoire card from Destiny 1 introduced Saint-14 as the strong Exo Titan that headbutt Solkis, Kell of Devils, to death. At the end of Season of Dawn, a cutscene of Saint-14 exiting the Infinite Forest showed him headbutting a Minotaur multiple times and killing it. It appears to be a fighting technique unique to him and unseen from other Guardians. That, or he's just a bit strange.

9 His Many Accolades

Saint-14's Grey Pigeon ship and his dead body in the Vex tomb were wrapped with purple ribbons. The Accolade lore explained that Osiris knew he called him his "accolades," but didn't know why. The lore goes through various moments of Saint-14's life where he gathered his accolades. Civilians who have felt Saint-14's kindness and seen his heroism and rewarded him with pieces of plum, lavender, and purple colored cloth. He kept them with him throughout his life.

8 Osiris and Saint-14 Are A Couple

Saint-14 and Osiris have had a very close relationship through Destiny's lore, starting from the Dark Age. Rumors of their relationship were circulating during Season of the Hunt since Saint-14 and Osiris shared intimate conversations. A Destiny 2 writer established on Twitter that they are a gay couple and have been this whole time.

The Warlock bond, called Blood Maturity, from Destiny 1 includes an adorable quote where Saint-14 says, "I have found that rarest treasure: a pragmatic Warlock," referencing Osiris.

7 Cheating Death

Saint-14 died in the Infinite Forest when he was searching for Osiris and was laid to rest by the Vex. After discovering Saint-14's body in Curse of Osiris, his lover comes up with a way to bring him back. He then created The Sundial, a time-travel machine, to locate the moment Saint-14 and his Ghost had fallen. The Guardian and Osiris were able to prevent Saint-14's death by helping him defeat Agioktis, Martyr Mind, and brought him back to the Last City.

6 The Perfect Paradox

The Perfect Paradox shotgun was introduced in the Curse of Osiris expansion. It was crafted in the Infinite Forge by the player by using Saint-14's personal effects. However, Perfect Paradox was given to Saint-14 in the past, by the player, from the present day to help him.

This was shown in the "Corridors of Time" quest when the Guardian helped Saint-14 during the Dark Age on Mercury and handed him Perfect Paradox.

5 Being Saint-14's Inspiration

It wasn't just in the Perfect Paradox lore that Saint-14 regarded the player as his inspiration. In The Accolade lore, he explains to a young girl he had saved that a Guardian had saved him once, too, and gave him hope for the future of humanity.

In Saint-14's Gray Pigeon lore, he wrote a note addressed Osiris, the Speaker, and "To my inspiration" which is the Guardian. Additionally, the lore for the Helm of Saint-14 shows that he was considered eccentric for believing that a savior Guardian would arrive in the future.

4 Saint-14 VS The Fallen

In the "Corridors of Time" quest, Saint-14 explains how much he despises the Fallen because of the destruction they have brought on humanity. He described their horrific acts such as seeing Dregs eat human children and destroy villages in the Cosmodrome.

In the City Age, Saint-14 fought in the Battle of Six Fronts to defeat Fallen Forces and conducted a crusade against the Fallen. The crusade ended when Saint-14 defeated Solkis, Kell of Devils.

3 Developing The Last City

In the Corridors of Time quest, the Ghost shows Saint-14 a hologram of the present-day Last City to motivate him. Years later, Saint-14 helped created the Consensus. This was meant to give the City governance and provide people a safe place.

The Consensus now includes the Vanguard, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and Future War Cult. When he returned to the Tower in the present day, he was ecstatic seeing what the City had become.

2 Saint-14 And The Speaker

Saint-14 is a caring man, hence his name representing his saint-like attitude. In the Patron of Lost Causes lore, Saint-14 explained that the Speaker was a leader who cared about humanity's well-being.

He saw the Speaker as a father figure, since Guardians are reborn without parents, and the Speaker saw Saint-14 as his son. They spoke to each other like family and even called each other father and son multiple times in the lore. Also, in a conversation with Efrideet, the Speaker mentions that he would want Saint-14 to become the next Speaker when he returns from Mercury.

1 Saint-14 Was The Vanguard Commander

In his ship's final log, Saint-14 tells Osiris that he wanted him to stay in the City and help the people. Saint-14 was the first Vanguard Commander but instead wanted Osiris to take the role. Osiris was not a believer of the Speaker or the Saint-14's ideology. Although he first agreed, he left for Mercury to learn more about the Vex. Saint-14 followed in order to bring him back.
