It’s week 3 of Season 2 for Destiny 2, which means several things for players. Most importantly it is the launch of the Dawning holiday event, which introduces new cosmetic items for players to collect, adds the Mayhem mode for a limited time, and gives the landscape a wintery coating. But in addition to that, this is also the first week that players can complete all of the Lost Prophecy Verse weapons for Brother Vance and see if that unlocks anything.

As it turns out, the Sagira Ghost Shell that was uncovered when Curse of Osiris first launched is actually tied to the Lost Prophecy weapons. Once players complete all 10 of the Verses, plus the ‘Another Verse’ quest that unlocks the Perfect Paradox shotgun, they will be rewarded with that Sagira Shell as well as an emblem.

For most players, unlocking the Sagira Ghost Shell is still a few weeks away since the Lost Prophecy weapons require a significant grind to unlock. The materials needed to complete each verse are not easy to come by and they drop in very small numbers. Luckily, the Dawning event brings back the Mayhem Crucible mode, which should make grinding Paradox Amplifiers a little more tolerable.

As an exotic, the Sagira Ghost Shell has a little extra utility to offer players beyond the basics. For starters, the Ghost Shell’s focus is on Mercury since that is the new destination added with the Curse of Osiris DLC. While on the planet players will be able to detect caches from 75 yards away (up from the usual distance) and have a chance at additional Mercury tokens from completing activities. On top of that, the Ghost Shell will generate weapon telemetry data from any elemental weapon kills.

Considering players don’t spend too much time on Mercury it’s hard to say how useful the Sagira Ghost Shell will be, but it certainly has a cool look and the telemetry data perk will help with those Gunsmith packages. So now that you know what is at the end of the tunnel for the Lost Prophecy weapons it’s up to you how fast or slow you want to grind through all 11 of them.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
