In what could be a response to fan complaints, a pair of popular exotic emotes have appeared in Destiny 2's Eververse store after the weekly reset. Both the Salty and Spicy Ramen emotes are now available for purchase in the rotating inventory of Tess Everis, but neither was there at the time of the weekly reset.

Fans noticed the change and posted it to the Destiny subreddit, calling it the first positive action developer Bungie has taken based on the growing negative feedback about Destiny 2. Bungie has yet to confirm why the change occurred, but it is curious because, at the time of the weekly reset, fans took to the same subreddit to complain that Eververse lacked any of the highly sought after exotic emotes that are set to disappear from the game in a week's time. Then, the emotes appeared at some point later in the day.

It's significant because, unlike Destiny 1, Destiny 2 has been split into Seasons lasting approximately three months. And with each change of Season, the Eververse Store and its Bright Engram loot table will be replaced with all new items from Sparrows to Ghosts to emotes. That means if players don't get lucky with a Bright Engram drop, they won't be able to ever earn them again.

Because the release of Curse of Osiris is next week that means there won't be any more chances to buy some of Season 1's fan-favorite items directly from the random inventory Tess Everis offers each week. The Spicy Ramen emote is one such emote that many fans were hoping to add to their inventories. Even Bungie has referenced the Spicy Ramen emote in its messaging to fans to let them know that their chance to get it is slipping away quickly.

Perhaps Bungie will shed some more light on this in its blog update tomorrow, where the developer promises to address fan feedback and criticism about Destiny 2 and define their plan to adjust the game. In the meantime, this is a chance for anyone who doesn't have these emotes to get them directly from Tess Everis for 3250 Bright Dust each.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
