Destiny 2 players have recently rediscovered that the Raiju's Harness Hunter exotic armor is still bugged despite this glitch being well known for quite some time. The armor's unique perk claims that guarding doesn't consume super energy, but numerous players have tested and confirmed that this clearly isn't the case.

This sort of incident is especially frustrating for Destiny 2 players, as there have been similar bugs in the game that have gone unaddressed for long periods of time. Hunters that enjoy using their super block or simply like the look of this exotic are going to feel cheated until the armor is fixed.

There's also been a history of Bungie "fixing" errors in a way that the community wasn't quite happy with, the most notorious instance of which being the bugged out Oathkeeper exotic Hunter gauntlets. The way Bungie approached addressing this issue sent the community into outrage, and even still it hasn't been truly fixed.

Essentially, Bungie acknowledged the bug in which the Oathkeeper armor claimed that draw speed for bows would be reduced, but it only affected the draw speed in a very minor way. After the community made it clear that this wasn't ideal, Bungie decided the best way to fix this would be to simply remove the line of text which said that rather than increasing the draw speed effect. Of course, this was never truly a bug to begin with, as the bow did what was intended, just not much, but Bungie's response still felt like a slap in the face to many players.

In a similar manner, the Raiju's Harness wasn't initially bugged, as the description only claimed that it reduced super energy consumed, but a recent update changed that wording to say that it negated the super energy consumption while guarding. The super energy is definitely still reduced, albeit only a little, but it is in direct conflict with what the text on the perk actually says. Bungie has three main options: leave it and do nothing, make the armor completely negate the additional super energy drain caused by blocking, or remove/revert that line of text.

Of these only one will truly satisfy fans, but Bungie has to take balance into account as well. Something in the middle might be a better solution, perhaps changing the text back to saying reduced but buffing the energy consumption reduction a little more in an official patch addressing the issue.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
