Destiny 2 players have discovered a glitch in Forsaken's Last Wish raid that makes it possible to launch one of the raid's bosses into the air and off the map. The boss in question is Morgeth, the Spirekeeper, the giant Taken ogre who is the third boss encounter of the Last Wish raid.

Not only can this glitch be done as a full raid team in Destiny 2, but as shown in the video below, it's simple to do it as a solo player. However, don't think this is going to be the go-to method for completing the Morgeth encounter as it only removes the boss from the area but does not kill it. That eventually leads to a wipe due to the mechanics of the fight.

As seen in the video, launching Morgeth off the map is very simple. All it takes is doing the heavy uppercut attack with a sword. Doing so will launch Morgeth into the air and move the creature closer and closer to the edge.

Whereas knocking Atheon (from Destiny 1's Vault of Glass raid) off its perch caused its death and completed the fight, it doesn't work like that here. Morgeth may fall into the abyss but that just means players are unable to defeat Morgeth and therefore are stuck in the area with no way to finish the encounter.

So while it's a funny glitch to try, it's not going to give teams any advantage in clearing the raid even faster. The glitch was originally posted by another player, Zacahary Chaffe, on Twitter and since then has gone viral among fans.

While that's surely a new bug for developer Bungie to add to its fix list, due to it not giving raid teams any kind of advantage may see this glitch go unfixed for a bit of time. Anyone interested in trying it can always warp straight to the Morgeth fight using the Fifth Wish on the Wall of Wishes.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
