It’s a new week in Destiny 2, which means a new rotation of items for sale at Eververse and a new selection of items for players in the Prismatic Matrix for the week. Here is what Tess is offering Destiny 2 players for the week of May 22.
The most notable items in the Prismatic Matrix this week are two exotic items, the Eon Drive sparrow and the Positive Infinity weapon ornament for the Worldline Zero exotic sword. Players can earn the fancy new sword by chasing after the lost memory fragments scattered throughout Mars. The Eon Drive also ties into Mars, as it seems to be a prototype of the sparrow players receive for finding all the memory fragments.
The Eververse is selling three exotic items this week: two weapon ornaments, and the new Skyline Flipside ghost shell. The weapon ornaments are for Telesto and Jade Rabbit. The Skyline Flipside is one of the most unique-looking ghost shells in the game at the moment, so it may be worth picking up. The intrinsic perk allows all sparrows to be summoned faster, which will help speed up the weekly grind for this week’s flashpoint.
Tess is also selling a new item bundle this week in honor of the return of Iron Banner. The bundle is causing a bit of controversy, as it costs approximately $10 and contains a unique Iron Banner emote. Many fans believe that the emote should be part of the Iron Banner reward pool for faction rewards, but this is another case of Bungie designing amazing loot for Eververse instead of tying it to player progression.
Players will be able to earn a prismatic facet by leveling up for the first time this week. Only one prismatic facet can be earned per week based on account. The Matrix works on a knock-out system, so players should try to earn as many of the items as possible before using their facets. Players can have up to three facets in their inventory, so if nothing is of interest this week, players can hold onto them in the hopes of a better assortment after next week’s reset.
