The Tuesday Twitch reveal for Destiny 2's Warmind expansion gave fans quite a bit to chew on until the DLC pack drops on May 8. Players were treated to a look at Warmind's new raid lair, new exotics, and details regarding Crucible rankings among other things. It seems the reveal stream did not contain everything there is to know about Warmind at the moment, as new details have been trickling in ever since.

Most of this information has come from those who attended the Destiny 2 summit at Bungie not too long ago, mostly in the form of direct statements or off-handed comments. A redditor by the handle "Coohippo" recently compiled these small revelations into a detailed post complete with timestamped videos. In addition to the raid lair and new weapons, Warmind will also be bringing some small quality of life upgrades such as the ability to dismantle gear in player vaults and the Postmaster. "Pursuits" will also be moved into their own sub-menu.

These updates have yet to be officially confirmed by Bungie, but given that the information is coming from those who've had some hands-on time with the expansion, it's highly likely that these are legitimate changes players can expect to see once they've had a chance to dig into the new content. Hopefully Bungie will address and provide further details about these changes like they did for the upcoming Crucible ranking system.

It certainly looks like Bungie's making a genuine effort to right the ship that is Destiny 2 with Warmind, and new content along with much requested changes like exotic masterwork weapons will do much to keep the game's player base engaged. However, one wonders if this will be enough to convince a now very jaded multitude of former fans to come back and give the game another chance.

Many former and current Destiny players still remember how the game struggled before The Taken King expansion, many of whom were outraged at the idea of borderline having to buy the game again in order to get a version close to what was originally promised. With that in mind, Bungie's really going to have to wow players with Warmind if they want a chance at doing something similar this time around.
