It's been an exciting week for most Destiny 2 fans as the Season of the Worthy comes to an end with the first ever live event in franchise history. While it may not have been as flashy as what Epic Games has done with Fortnite, Bungie managed to not only gather huge amounts of players in The Tower but destroy the huge Cabal ship in real time in the sky box. Fans were treated to part of the Tower getting hit as the burning wreckage landed off in the distant mountains. Even as all eyes focus on tomorrow when Bungie prepares to show off what's next, a new leak reveals things a bit earlier than expected.

Moving a bit quicker than Bungie would have liked is the Australian PlayStation Store which posted a new Destiny 2 bundle online about a day earlier than expected. The accompanying image showed a few things that had never been previously revealed including the upcoming name which is Season of Arrivals. The bundle's main draw is the fact that it comes with 1,000 silver and a bonus extra of 700, giving players a grand total of 1,700 silver to use at the Eververse microtransaction store.

In addition to the premium currency, the description confirms that players would be getting a Strange Visitors legendary emote. Without much more to go on, the emote itself is likely shown in the promotional image where a generic Guardian character is shown. Surrounded by a green light, the character appears to be being beamed up into a spacecraft of some sort.

Unfortunately, the bundle was removed fairly quickly after the mistake had been discovered though not before the community had taken screenshots and posted on places like the Destiny 2 subReddit. Oddly enough, in the background of the emote and silver pieces appears to be a subtle image of a circle and what appears to be symbols that appear Hive related. Perhaps this final season, before the big Fall expansion with the Darkness as the expected bad guys, will push the Hive faction back into the forefront.

Before being taken down, the description also provided a bit more details on the Fall expansion, namely that players would need to have 105 GB of Hard Drive storage space by September 22, 2020. Many have begun to assume that Sept 22, 2020 is the expected launch date for whatever is coming in the Fall.

The leak does line up with information previously leaked over the weekend during the Almighty live event. In certain languages or locations, players saw an in-game message appear with a description of the upcoming season. For example, the Spanish version of Destiny 2 referred to season 11 as Season of the Visitors while the French version called it Season of the Arrival. It's likely that this was a translation related situation, especially with this leak seemingly putting an official stamp on the name as Season of Arrivals in the English version of the popular shooter. Thankfully, there's less than a day until players finally see the future of the game.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
