Some Destiny 2 players have unlocked a secret Sparrow Exotic much earlier than Bungie may have anticipated given that not all the requirements to obtain it are supposed to be opened. Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph continues to evolve as Bungie patches the game to unlock some locations, make adjustments to lasers that are part of seasonal challenges, and apply hotfixes to weapons, but it may need an adjustment for this Sparrow Exotic.Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph has introduced several new weapons, objectives, and a secret Sparrow Exotic that has been achieved by some players who have destroyed fifty security drones behind recently opened doors. Beyond the arsenal of weapons and wardrobe of armor in Destiny 2, players can further customize their ships, raid banners, and Sparrows to express themselves in the open-world planets across the FPS' universe. While there is a plethora of Destiny 2 Sparrows to equip already, some Destiny 2 players are getting ahead of the updates to unlock a new Sparrow Exotic before Bungie may have accounted for.RELATED: Destiny 2 Player Finds a Way to Deal Over 600% Increased Glaive DamageThe Destiny Bulletin Twitter account has confirmed that a few players have managed to destroy all fifty Destiny 2 security drones required to unlock the secret Sparrow Exotic called Archangel's Refit. Though it shouldn't be possible for Destiny 2 players to unlock this secret Exotic yet because Bungie has yet to open up one more area to make it legitimate, these players have found a way to exploit a combination of a new weapon and ammunition. Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph's Revision Zero Exotic weapon is easily able to destroy these security drones, but when paired with ricochet rounds it can even hit out-of-bounds areas.

The floating yellow drones of Destiny 2 are scattered around the map, usually hidden in little nooks, but the security drones in the Seraph room were expected to be accessible in a future update. With Destiny 2 players unable to destroy all fifty drones legitimately, some like Reddit user SliderDoesGamin turned to fancy techniques in order to ricochet the pulse rifle rounds. This approach allows players to ignore any locked door that Bungie may have put in place to prevent all fifty security drones from being destroyed which fans expected to see open as Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph proceeds.

As more Destiny 2 players continue to report their success in acquiring the Secret Sparrow Exotic, Bungie may speed up the process in which fans can get it fairly. Because Bungie often fixes Destiny 2 out-of-bounds areas based on fan feedback, some players that don't achieve the secret Sparrow Exotic Archangel's Refit using this trick may be left waiting unnecessarily.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
