Destiny 2's 30th Anniversary Pack has been out for less than two days, and it's already a very successful DLC that's getting Bungie a lot of praise for its work and dedication. There was very little information about what the DLC's activities would be like and what they would entail, and the only things players knew were that there was going to be a pirate-themed Dungeon and a sort of loot cave with Xur, but not much else. Lo-and-behold, the Anniversary Pack is so much more than just that, and it comes with a lot of great weapons that celebrate Bungie's past work.

Destiny 2's Dares of Eternity activity is one of the best yet, and it perfects the formula of Season of Opulence's Menagerie, a seasonal activity that became the benchmark for what Bungie wanted to achieve. Dares of Eternity is fun and it has great gameplay mechanics, but that's not all, because players can also run into a special bonus encounter called Lightning Round that further increases the rewards if completed.

Dares of Eternity features a gameplay loop done right, with plenty of diverse encounters and bosses, as well as awesome loot to look for. The activity drops Treasure Keys upon completion, with a chance for Strange Coins as well, allowing players to get more gear the longer they play Dares of Eternity. Destiny 2 also has a reputation system for most of its vendors, and now Xur is no exception, considering that each Dares of Eternity completion increases the players' rank, up to a maximum of 17.

Content creator and YouTuber Luckyy 10P shared a PSA video showing how to get Bungie's weirdest ship yet in Destiny 2, and while the method might seem simple, it takes a very long time. There is a chest that grants an Exotic ship in Xur's lair and to open it, players need to have reached rank 16 by playing Dares of Eternity, and also spend 7 Treasure Keys at once on the chest. This will award players a ship that's basically a space rock that glows, making it unclear how it even works and where Guardians are supposed to sit during travel.

Despite the strange design, the ship has proven to be very popular since its release, and it may also explain how Xur travels in between dimensions. The 30th Anniversary Pack's activity is not all about Xur, and Destiny 2 players are pleased with Starhorse as a character, providing funny subtitles as well as more lighthearted gameplay, even though many hoped the equine would be an Exotic Sparrow or something of the sort.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
