Destiny 2 has been a long-time go-to video game for online players with the ever-changing events that happen within the game world. Now, as part of the latest set of additions to the game, the Guardian Games in Destiny 2 has revealed a whole new list of items and missions.

Of these new items in Guardian Games, there is a new legendary armor piece titled the "Lion's Pride." While it might fly under the radar of some players, some fans found out that gamers can actually manipulate this item through multiple transactions to start an infinite legendary shard loop.

However, Bungie Studios will most likely release an update patch to prevent fans from doing this by the end of the day, if not in a couple of hours. For now, the market is free game for everyone to strike it rich. So for Destiny 2 fans looking to take advantage of the accident while they can, here is how to farm infinite legendary shards.

Gamers simply need to go into their collections tab and select the armor icon. From there, go to the events tab and purchase the Lion's Pride class item that costs about 250 Glimmer and 3 Gunsmith Materials. After players buy the item and then delete it right after, they will receive all of the Gunsmith materials back along with four legendary shards. With that, gamers get four legendary shards at the cost of only 250 Glimmer in Destiny 2, which many agree is an absolute steal.

To add to the cycle, players can exchange 10,000 more Glimmer for 20 Spinmetal Leaves and then get one legendary shard for Spinmetal Leaves. This effectively creates an infinite loop of legendary shards by creatively exchanging materials. Many fans who have already used this process have been able to get 2,000 extra legendary shards in just one hour. Another user even commented that this process could possibly be done with last year's class item as well.

Another tip for fans is to purchase from the special event's vendor Eva Levante in the game for more glimmer and gunsmith materials, which will make the process already much faster for gamers. Levante can usually be found in the courtyard at the Tower or at the Bazaar by the railing next to Ikora Rey. At this moment, there is no word about whether or not this bug has been fixed yet by Bungie. Hopefully, Destiny 2 fans will see this in time and be able to jump on the opportunity before the patch comes in and score some free loot.
