A Destiny 2 player discovered a method for dealing over 600% damage with a glaive in the latest Season of the Seraph content. Glaive usage is bound to rise in Destiny 2 thanks to the newly discovered method, and Season of the Seraph features a new glaive that's perfect for unleashing devastating damage on the game's most challenging bosses.

In Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph, players are tasked with restoring Rasputin to its former glory while protecting other warminds from Xivu Arath's forces. The season introduced a plethora of content on December 6 including Assassin's Creed armor, new story quests, Battlegrounds missions, and brand-new gear. Further, the latest season introduces a new artifact with seasonal mods to take advantage of while playing endgame content such as Master Lost Sectors and the seasonal dungeon. When combining seasonal mods, powerful subclass abilities, and new weapons, players can create potent gear sets that defy many of the game's challenges.

Destiny 2 player and YouTuber Plunderthabooty created a new Solar Titan build that helps increase glaive damage by over 600% and offers high damage resistance. Plunderthabooty's Titan build makes use of any glaive available since the launch of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, but the new Judgment of Kelgorath glaive appears to be a very potent option. The Judgment of Kelgorath glaive may roll with the Close to Melee perk, which increases glaive melee damage after glaive projectile final blows. A Titan's Solar abilities, aspects, and fragments may boost overall damage with the glaive to an incredible amount.

Destiny 2's Tractor Cannon complements the Solar Titan build since it provides a 30% damage debuff on afflicted enemies. The solar Titan's throwable hammer enables the use of Radiant and Restoration abilities on impact, so players may be healed and deal extra damage while performing the glaive's melee attacks. Moreover, the Sol Invictus Titan ability creates sunspots on hammer impact for further healing. Subclass fragments such as Ember of Empyrean and Ember of Solace will extend ability duration even further.

Plunderthabooty's Titan build is insanely powerful and will make short work of Destiny 2's bosses through the game's extensive list of PvE content. The over 600% increase in glaive damage means Solar Titans in Destiny 2 have an even greater use for fireteams in dungeons and activities with Master level difficulty. It's use in raids may vary due to gameplay mechanics and puzzles, however.

Bungie will likely balance out the immense damage that glaives and solar Titans are capable of in the current Destiny 2 sandbox at a later date. For now, players can enjoy a powerful build that clears through many of the game's challenges with ease.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
