Even though Destiny 2 has been out for well over a month on consoles, PC players will finally get their hands on Bungie's sci-fi shooter in just 12 days. Bungie had previously given out PC specs, but those were specifically for the PC beta of the game earlier this year in August.

The changes to the minimum and recommended specs for Destiny 2 don't differ much from the beta; however they have been detailed further:

  • GPU (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • RAM: 6GB
  • CPU (Intel):Intel Core i5-2400 3.4 GHz or i5 7400 3.5 GHz

The launch of Destiny 2 on PC will go live at 10:00 a.m. Pacific on October 24, launching a bit differently than the rolling midnight launch the console version of the game had in September.

Destiny 2 is available only through the Blizzard Battle.net app. Even though its launch comes nearly seven weeks after the console version, it will quickly come to parity with the update and release schedule of the other versions of the game. Bungie promises that future DLC, with the first expansion coming in December, will release at the same time across platforms and not leave PC behind.

Many are looking forward to the PC version of Destiny 2, as it is the only version of the game that can run at 4K and 60 FPS. That faster frame rate is what fans have been asking for since Destiny 1 and is perhaps what PC players are most looking forward to in comparison to the console versions.

Destiny 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, and releases on October 24, 2017 for PC.
