Next week, E3 2017 takes over Los Angeles — and WWE superstar the Big Show will be in attendance at the big show. The grappler will be on hand to co-host a panel on Destiny 2 that will air as part of the E3 Coliseum strand of programming.
The World’s Largest Athlete will join Bungie CEO Pete Parsons to helm the panel, which is set to take place on June 13. We can expect to hear a lot about Destiny 2 at E3 this year, and this broadcast will no doubt offer up its own kernels of information.
For those wondering why the Big Show has been tapped for this particular role, it’s because he’s an enormous fan of the game. The wrestler has apparently been playing the original Destiny for years, and over the course of his fandom has developed something of a relationship with Bungie.

As you can see above, the Big Show was supplied with a limited edition PlayStation 4 console upon the release of The Taken King in 2015. He’s also appeared on fellow WWE superstar Xavier Woods’ gaming YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown, where he detailed his dislike for the game’s Titan class.
Suffice it to say, this won’t be a typical celebrity appearance at E3, where the star in question doesn’t know too much about the game being played. Big Show knows Destiny inside out, so expect him to have some burning questions for the title’s developers when he makes his appearance on-stage next week.
Destiny 2 was officially unveiled last month, but there is still plenty that we don’t know about the hotly anticipated sequel. There are just three months to go until the game’s scheduled release date, so Bungie will certainly be eager to showcase all aspects of the shooter when all eyes are on E3 next week.
Destiny 2 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 8, 2017.
