While the new Season of Dawn has experienced a smooth launch so far this week, Bungie has made sure that all Destiny 2 players know that season 9 isn't flawless. The developer tipped fans off earlier this week with news of existing issues and bugs which could crop up during the new season such as the UI issue that indicates players need 28 triumphs to unlock the Savior seal instead of the actual 15. However, there appears to be a few additional bugs that have made it past the studio especially related to this season's latest NPC character.

After his brief stint as part of the Curse of Osiris expansion for Destiny 2, Bungie has brought Osiris back into the spotlight as the new quest giver for the Season of Dawn. Through him, players are given quests related to the obelisks, participating in the new Sundial activity, and more. While the character retains his look when players last saw him, one person in particular encountered a glitch that has certainly provided more than a few laughs for the community.

As captured by Storm Roe, Osiris is standing in his normal spot inside the Sundial, though his traditional Warlock robes have been completely removed, or have glitched so that it appears he's wearing a sort of brown space diaper. While the responses to this image have been hysterical, this isn't an issue related just to Osiris as many Warlock players have encountered this issue at some point or another. In fact, a few members of the community have even indicated that The Drifter, a non-Warlock who also wears long garments, experiences this glitch from time to time.

As funny as this may be, it is an issue that Bungie is aware of. In fact, dmg04 who is part of the community team at Bungie responded to the image saying this is a known issue the studio is investigating, even if he doesn't personally want it to be fixed.

In fact, this problem isn't the first known issue related to the exiled Warlock, though it is likely the best one. On Tuesday as Season of Dawn officially kicked off, players visiting Osiris for his obelisk quests ran into an issue where his vendor menu appeared empty instead of the expected selectable quests. While Bungie has yet to officially correct the problem, players have managed to discover a very easy work around to the problem. Simply exit the menu and interact with him again to make the quests load in. This issue typically appears after finishing the first obelisk mission before heading to Mars.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
