After being officially confirmed with a cinematic trailer a few weeks ago, Destiny 2's gameplay is finally ready to take the spotlight. Bungie's Destiny 2 event has been loaded with news about the game's platform availability, class changes, and matchmaking updates. In addition to all of those details, there have also been a few amazing trailers that dropped during the event, including one that is all about gameplay.

The gameplay trailer builds on the characters and conflict established in the announcement trailer and puts Cayde-6 and Commander Zavala at the center of the action. Although the trailer is called a gameplay reveal, it does spend about a minute and a half in a cinematic cutscene before getting to what everyone is tuning in for.

Here's a look at the official Destiny 2 gameplay reveal trailer...

As expected, the gameplay reveal is all about the new. New weapons, new armor, new vehicles, and new powers are all teased during the minute of gameplay and there is plenty to over-analyze and geek out about. Hardcore fans of Destiny one will probably pick up the changes to weapons and abilities and hopefully newcomers to the franchise will just be excited enough about the non-stop action to give the game a try this time around.
