With Destiny 2's first month officially underway, the video game developers at Bungie have decided to provide some details for the science fiction first-person shooter's Nightfall Strike for its release week. As it so happens, the activity is live right now, but it's worth mentioning that Guardians will need to be at a relatively high level, as Nightfall Strikes are typically some of the game’s most challenging content.

According to a post on Bungie's official website, this first Nightfall Strike for Destiny 2 is called "The Arms Dealer," and it presents players with the task to "shut down the operations of an ironmonger providing weapons to the Red Legion." As of now, modifiers are being kept secret, as the developer wants Guardians to discover them on their own, but fans can at least get a better understanding of the challenges, which can be found below:

  • Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
  • Trash The Thresher: Shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn.

For those unaware, Nightfall Strikes and their modifiers rotate weekly, so Destiny 2 players will have plenty more chances in the future to try their hand at them should their attempts not be successful in the first outing. Since the modifiers change on a regular basis, it is important for Guardians to select loadouts that pair up with the different modifiers in play, but of course, one can choose whatever gear set they want if they're looking for an even beefier challenge.

Although there are likely only a slim few Guardians who are ready for Destiny 2's first Nightfall Strike due to the level recommendation being 240 and upward, it's a safe bet to make that the numbers of players prepared for the activity will handily increase over the weekend. Destiny 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will release on October 24, 2017 for PC.
