Destiny 2’s Grandmaster difficulty for Nightfalls is returning to Season of the Splicer on July 13. Guardians may be excited to jump back into this endgame Destiny 2 content for the rewards that include Adept versions of certain weapons. For Season of the Splicer, the rotation of the weapons is going to change slightly from the previous season.

Guardians looking to step into Grandmaster difficulty of Destiny 2’s Nightfalls will need to be 1335 Power before they can enter. The core experience is not changing, only the Adept weapons rotation. With new Adept weapons being added to the rotation, Guardians will have more to chase.

The Plug One.1, Hung Jury, and Uzume RR4 will each get an Adept version, available from the Grandmaster Nightfalls. Starting July 13, the Adept Plug One.1 will be available. Hung Jury will follow the week after Plug One.1 and the Uzume RR4 will be the week after Hung Jury. Typically, the rotation would reset here, however, one more week has been added to the rotation which includes last season's Adept weapons, The Palindrome, Shadow Price, and The S.W.A.R.M. The rotation will then start over with Plug One.1.

Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Adept

While this isn’t an enormous change in Destiny 2, it is a pleasant addition to the Adept rotation, allowing Guardians to continue having chances at God Roll versions of last season’s Destiny 2 Adept weapons. The changes to a Guardian’s Power Level at the start of Season of the Splicer have made it much easier for Guardians to reach the Power Level required to take part in the Grandmaster Nightfalls.

Since the Grandmaster Nightfalls are endgame content, Guardians will need to form a Fireteam to take part as there is no matchmaking. There are plenty of resources that Guardians can use to find a Fireteam including the official Destiny Companion app. Guardians can also find fellow Guardians on Twitch such as Ekuegan, who has helped thousands of Guardians through Grandmaster Nightfalls.

Next season, Guardians should have access to crossplay in Destiny 2, opening up the pool of potential new Fireteam members to help with Grandmaster Nightfalls. Guardians will need to bring their best gear if they hope to be successful in a Grandmaster Nightfall. Optimizing a Guardians build and teamwork is the key to success, however, Titan’s Ursa Furiosa Exotic Gauntlets are quite helpful as well.

With three new weapons gaining Adept status from Grandmaster Nightfalls, Guardians will have more weapons to hunt. The Plug One.1 is a popular Fusion Rifle, so getting an Adept version will certainly be something that many Guardians will chase after.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
