When the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC arrives next month, it will introduce some 'new' raid content. And while the full extent of that new content is unclear for now, players have discovered a new ship that may be a reward for completing it.

On Reddit, one Destiny 2 player shared a screenshot of what appears to be a brand new jumpship. The main body of the ship is black, with metallic fixtures on its sides. The jumpship also has a fairly intricate design on top, as it has several white tendrils going right across its body. The design is similar to the SIVA nanotechnology that featured in the first game, albeit these tendrils are white and SIVA is a deep red.

This new Destiny 2 jumpship is not the only item from the Curse of Osiris DLC that seems to have this tendril-like design. There are multiple weapons from the DLC's announcement trailer that also have white wires going across them, almost as if the tendrils are being used to power the guns. It stands to reason that these weapons, like the jumpship, are powered by a new Destiny 2 power source (which may or may not be a new version of SIVA).

The fact that there is some sort of connection between the ship and the weapons could also mean that they are part of a raid activity reward set. For example, the Leviathan raid introduces several gold and white weapons which each offer up more lore about (Leviathan raid boss) Emperor Calus and how he fits into the game's narrative. Destiny 2 developer Bungie may well be teasing another raid reward set for players to collect.

While there may be plenty of other items in the raid reward set, players would be pretty happy with an exclusive ship. Many longstanding Destiny fans have bemoaned the lack of raid reward ships from the Leviathan raid and have asked Bungie to create some. Although players can unlock some impressive ship designs by collecting Bright Engrams, many fans argue that it would be nice if some ships were exclusive to those who complete a raid.

Bungie continues to tease the arrival of a new raid for Destiny 2 players to sink their teeth into and it's clear that the developer is gearing up for a big reveal. It is planning multiple streams about the Curse of Osiris DLC so hopefully one of these will provide some answers.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
