After defeating the second boss, Shuro Chi, Destiny 2 players will come face to face with Morgeth, the Spirekeeper. This boss is all that stands between Destiny 2 players and the final boss, so there's plenty of pressure to rush through. With this boss, however, that's not recommended. Using this guide should hopefully help players avoid an untimely wipe and go on to fight Riven of a Thousand Voices.

Before even beginning the Last Wish raid, players will want to make sure they are at an appropriate power level, as these fights are not simple or easy. Preparing with the right guns and skills will also go a long way as well as having a cooperative fireteam.

Once players reach Morgeth, a Taken Ogre, keep killing the lesser enemies until glowing balls begin to spawn. Gathering one will grant the player a Taken Strength Buff, but having three will kill the player. Keep this in mind throughout the fight, as managing these buffs are key. The boss will also attempt to trap characters with tornados. To free another player, use a Taken Essence orb from a captain, and use the grenade on a trapped player.

This little trick is what players will want to keep an eye on: freeing a trapped player grants the freedom-granter that player's taken strength. If it hits three, then that player dies. Ideally, two players will avoid getting any buffs and focus on gathering Taken Essence orbs to save other players. Once they gain a buff from a freed player, then they can swap roles.

Managing these buffs is such an important aspect of this fight because the more Taken Strength a player has, the more damage that player deals out. Throughout the fight, players will get messages that Morgeth's strength has increased, and players can take away its immunity by grabbing the glowing orb that appears in front of the boss two minutes in.

Spam Morgeth will buffed damagers and watch its strength percentage. If it reaches 100%, it will wipe the players, but using the Taken Essence orb's super attack will reset its strength counter. Do this once the Taken Ogre hits 90% and repeat as needed until the mighty Spirekeeper has fallen. This will only put players once step closer to completing the Last Wish raid.

With this guide, players should be able to drop this Taken Ogre and proceed to Riven, but at the time of this writing, no one has defeated the latter boss. Of course, everyone is racing to be the first to beat the final boss because of the rewards and prestige. Stay tuned for more news concerning the Last Wish raid, Ranters!
