The Loaded Question fusion rifle may have been the Vanguard pinnacle weapon in Season of the Drifter in Destiny 2, but it is still a top-tier weapon for PvE. Plus, the quest can still be completed even though its particular season has ended and Season of the Opulence brings a new slate of pinnacle weapons. However, for those who still need Loaded Question, this week presents a unique opportunity to easily and quickly grind the quest that will unlock it.

The farming method that Destiny 2 players can use this week for the purpose of earning Loaded Question was discovered and posted by user Invertex over on the Destiny subreddit. The time-sensitivity of this method is tied to the fact that it involves the Nightfall selection for the week.

With the ability to select from one of three Nightfalls and use modifiers, players can ease their climb to getting the fusion rifle and arc kills required to earn Loaded Question. To take advantage of this, equip armor that has Heavy or Special Ammo Finder and Fusion Rifle Scavenger and Reserves. This will help keep players equipped with plenty of ammo while killing enemies.

Equip a fusion rifle, preferably an arc-based one, plus a heavy linear fusion rifle. Sticking with the arc theme, the Queensbreaker exotic heavy linear fusion rifle is arc and will count toward arc-based kills and fusion rifle kills. If the arc kills are less of a concern, One Thousand Voices is a top choice because it can clear a lot of enemies quickly and tally up the fusion rifle kills required for the quest.

Next, set the Five of Swords challenge card for the Nightfall to a handicap of zero, activate Arc Singe (or a Singe that corresponds to the damage type being used), and turn on Heavyweight. Then select A Garden World as the Nightfall. There are a lot of enemies that group up in this strike so using a linear fusion rifle that can cut through many of them in a single shot is best.

But the ultimate goal is for players to get to the second gate where there are two Cyclops guarding it. There are a lot of enemies in this area, which will serve as the focus of this farming method. Kill as many enemies with fusion rifles, collect the ammo that drops from them, and then jump off the side of the area. This will respawn the player back at the beginning of the area along with all the enemies.

While Loaded Question may not get the most buzz among players, it is actually a very good weapon for clearing groups of enemies in PvE and has even been shown to be a top choice to use in the Crown of Sorrow raid. It's especially good after the buff that fusion rifles received in the patch that launched with Season of Opulence.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
