Destiny 2's latest raid, The Last Wish, went live yesterday, and players have been competing fervently to be World First to clear Last Wish. For the team that finishes The Last Wish first, Bungie has offered to give them some snazzy gear, and they also have the privilege of helping to teach the rest of the community how to beat the various raid bosses. Now, after 18 grueling hours of continuously playing, the first fireteam to finish The Last Wish raid has been decided.

The short clip below shows the final seconds of the raid run one of Clan Redeem's team members, FleshCrunch, as they made the cut by a mere four seconds. The video also shows that this fireteam has gained the hard-to-earn triumph, "Best of the Best," which can only be unlocked if a fireteam completes all raid encounters 24 hours after its release in Destiny 2. Fans that would like to see the full eight hour run of the raid can do so on Twitch.

In the full stream of the raid, it also shows the loot that the team has gained from completing The Last Wish. As promised by Bungie, one of the highly sought-after items in Destiny 2, which is the One Thousand Voices exotic fusion rifle, was among the loot that each team member got for being the World First for completing the raid.

As revealed last week, the World First team of Last Wish will also be given an actual wrestling-style championship belt to mark their achievement. For the rest of the player base that complete The Last Wish from now on, One Thousand Voices will be a rare drop from the raid’s final boss encounter.

Clan Redeem certainly has a lot to celebrate, as this is a great achievement in Destiny 2, and they have earned some awesome real life and in-game loot along the way. It is clear that this achievement came from a lot of hard work and endurance.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
