Destiny 2's newest raid, Last Wish, is almost out, releasing on Friday, September 14 at 10 a.m. PDT. And those players who can conquer the raid's challenges early on will be rewarded with a small collection of rewards, ranging from in-game to real life ones.

There's always a race among hardcore Destiny 2 fans to be World's First, the first ones to beat the newest raid. As revealed last week, the World's First team of Last Wish will be given an actual wrestling-style championship belt to mark their achievement. In addition to the World's First title belt, every player in the World's First team will also be guaranteed the Last Wish's raid exotic, One Thousand Voices. As for the rest of the player base, One Thousand Voices will be a rare drop from the raid's final boss encounter.

But the World's First team won't be the only ones rewarded for completing the raid. Anyone who is able to complete the raid within 24 hours of its launch will receive an exclusive emblem called Wish Ascended.

While all those rewards are going to be much more exclusive, there's also a reward open to more players. Anyone who is able to beat Last Wish before the next weekly reset on Tuesday, September 18 will have access to buy a personalized Last Wish raid jacket (pictured above).

These rewards are bound to be pretty exclusive among Destiny 2 players, and it shows a shift in attitude from Bungie. Many fans felt that Bungie designed Destiny 2 at launch to be an "everybody's a winner"-type game focused on the casual player, shying away from elements of the game that reward the hardcore with special items. Fans asked for more ways to distinguish themselves, and this is one more way Bungie is delivering on that feedback.

The raid is the big tentpole event in Destiny 2 this weekend, and it all starts when the World's First race kicks off at 10 a.m. PDT on Friday.
