Destiny 2 fans will soon have a much better idea about what's coming in Joker's Wild, the second Annual Pass add-on coming to the game in March. Developer Bungie has announced that it will be debuting a new ViDoc all about Joker's Wild sometime on Thursday, February 28th.

The announcement of the ViDoc about Joker's Wild, which is set to focus mainly around the Gambit mode and The Drifter, came via Bungie community manager Cozmo on Twitter. While it is unknown when exactly on Thursday the ViDoc will debut, Bungie often releases trailers around 9 or 10 a.m. PT. The ViDoc may also debut as part of the developer's weekly "This Week At Bungie" blog post, which typically goes live in the late afternoon PT.

ViDocs are Bungie's signature half-trailer, half-development videos that usually feature a look at upcoming gameplay combined with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from developers. The last ViDoc Bungie released came three months ago and focused on the Annual Pass content and the seasons of Destiny 2's second year.

The next season of Destiny 2, Season of the Drifter, is set to begin on March 5th; however, that does not necessarily mean that Joker's Wild will also launch on that day. In fact, the last season and Black Armory add-on launched a week apart from each other, so that may very well happen with Season 6 and Joker's Wild. With that in mind, chances are good that the ViDoc will announce the launch date for Joker's Wild.

There is a lot for Bungie to still reveal about Joker's Wild with the add-on's content remaining well under wraps. As revealed by Destiny 2's roadmap for Year 2, players can expect Joker's Wild to bring new weapons and gear, weekly quests, a new Gambit experience, Xur bounties, and an exotic quest (likely the return of Thorn, which looks to be a seasonal quest available to all players who own Forsaken).

Again, fans should keep an eye out on Thursday, February 28th for that Destiny 2 ViDoc about Joker's Wild.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
