Iron Banner is set to return to Destiny 2 at the next weekly reset on Tuesday, November 21 at 1 a.m. PST. This will be the second Iron Banner on consoles, while the monthly PvP event will debut for the first time on PC following the platform's launch in late October.

Unlike the first Iron Banner, this month's game mode will be Clash (or what is basically Destiny 2's version of Team Deathmatch). Outside of the game mode changing from the first Iron Banner, however, the experience otherwise will be the same. Daily Challenges and a Milestone will offer rewards to the player, mainly in the form of tokens. Players will turn those tokens in to get an Iron Banner engram from Lord Saladin, where RNG will determine what Iron Banner gear a player receives.

Iron Banner will receive significant changes with how it gives out rewards in the near future with the release of the game's Curse of Osiris expansion and the debut of Season 2. While fans were excited to hear those changes coming to Iron Banner, they will not be active for this event.

Destiny 2 Iron Banner Rise of Iron reference

Speaking of Season 2, developer Bungie says that the Iron Banner emblem earned by completing the Milestone associated with Iron Banner will not be available in Season 2. That means players who want to collect the emblem for their inventory will need to complete the Milestone before the end of next week's event. Those that did complete the Milestone during last month's Iron Banner are already ahead of the curve.

Iron Banner will last a full week, ending on November 28 at the 1 a.m. PST reset. The requirements for playing Iron Banner are that a player must have completed the Destiny 2 campaign (thus unlocking the Tower), visiting Lord Saladin once the event is active to begin the Iron Banner quest, then launching into the playlist. As a reminder, level advantages are disabled in Destiny 2's version of Iron Banner, so there is no minimum or recommended level for entry.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
