As the game is nearly hitting its fourth anniversary, many Destiny 2: Beyond Light fans are still getting new ways to experience the game. One of these methods is the countless different weapons in Destiny 2 that gamers can choose from that fits their playstyle.

In particular, the hand cannons in Destiny 2 are helpful for their usefulness against crowds of enemies and ability to stack damage. In the new Season of the Chosen event, a new Igneous Hammer hand cannon was introduced to the game with some impressive stats.

As powerful as this gun is, gamers who know the right perks to accompany it can bring out the weapon's full potential. So for Destiny 2 fans who are looking to boost their arsenal, here are the best Igneous Hammer rolls in both PvE and PvP settings.

Destiny 2 Crucible Match

The Igneous Hammer Gun can only be acquired by players who fight their way through the Trials of Osiris matches. Some appear just before the Lighthouse, but these are only an Adept Version. It will take some time to farm in Destiny 2, but the ends do justify the means.

Best God Roll for PvE

Unfortunately, the Igneous Hammer has a very slow reload speed and firing rate. The best way to circumvent this is to find perks that can help balance out this problem. The Fluted Barrel will be great for the gun because it increases both the stability by +5 and the handling by +15. The Appended Mag is preferred in terms of the magazine since it gives an extra 20 rounds to the gun with less of a reload cost as extended mags.

When it comes to perks, these tend to be more of a preferred choice, depending on the player. However, the Outlaw perk does work with this gun very well to increase reload speed with critical hit kills. Additionally, the Rampage perk is wonderful for its power to grant increase damage upon kills.

Best God Roll for PvP

For PvP scenarios, gamers should consider a version of the gun with increased range since they won't have to deal with insane hordes of enemies. For the barrel, the Hammer Forged Rifling is great since it gives the range an extra +10. The Ricochet Rounds would be a great choice for a magazine since it adds an additional +5 points to accuracy while also giving a +10 for stability.

For perks, Killing Wind increases mobility, weapon range, and handling whenever gamers get a kill. When teamed up with the Rampage perk, players will be able to defeat enemies in the Crucible in Destiny 2 with just two shots.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
