Destiny 2’s Black Armory DLC added several new and unique exotics for players to chase. From the wild Anarchy grenade launcher to the upcoming Last Word, these weapons prove to be more unique than your average exotic – and the Jotunn exotic fusion rifle is no exception. This powerful weapon may be classified as a fusion rifle, but it behaves much more like a grenade launcher or mini-rocket launcher. Much like obtaining the Le Monarque exotic bow, getting this weapon is rather simple (if players are lucky).

To snag this powerful gun, Destiny 2 players will need to forge powerful frames in the recently unlocked Bergusia forge. While this gun seems to have a decent drop chance, players will only have a limited number of chances per week to forge powerful frames so players better hope RNG is on their side. Judging by first impressions, players will definitely want to get this gun soon because it is very strong in Crucible. Featuring tracking rounds that burn the ground, Jotunn is a force to be reckoned with at the moment.

The past couple days have been a wild ride for the Destiny 2 community. Originally, the recently opened Niobe Labs held the key to unlocking the Bergusia forge, but after two full days of players throwing themselves at the puzzles hidden within, Bungie decided to go ahead and open the forge to everyone since it seems Niobe Labs will take longer to conquer than Bungie first anticipated. The whole encounter has been very divisive in the community. Some players praise Bungie for the creative and unique take on encounter design, while others criticize the team for make the encounter too punishing due to the lack of reliable checkpoints.

The other big news of the week is that Destiny 2 will be self-published by Bungie following its separation from Activision. While fans currently do not know what this will mean for the series going forward, both fans and developers at Bungie are excited to see what the future of the franchise will hold with Bungie having full control over the game.

Destiny 2: Black Armory is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
