Exotic Weapons are always interesting additions to the game, as they typically have special abilities that can give players an edge when it comes to dealing with difficult content throughout Destiny 2. Restore the Monuments

Before Destiny 2 players can get Winterbite, there are several things they will need to do first. Winterbite is part of post-campaign content, and so the first thing that players will need to do is beat the Lightfall campaign on any difficulty. Once this is done, players will unlock a series of quests with the Archivist, Quinn Laghari. The Vex recently attacked the Hall of Heroes and destroyed several monuments. After completing the tour of the Hall of Heroes, players will finally be able to start restoring the monuments.

When speaking to the Archivist, Destiny 2 players will notice that she has a quest for Winterbite. The only way to accept this quest is by first restoring three monuments. This is accomplished by completing three quests. The names of these quests are Stargazer, Maelstrom, and Bluejay. These quests require players to complete a variety of tasks and activities across Neomuna. For example, Maelstrom requires players to participate in public events, patrols, and loot caches/resources in the daily Vex Incursion Zone.

Make sure to be at least 1770 Power when doing Bluejay, as it requires players to the Partition activity which is fairly difficult and recommends 1770 power. Once Bluejay is completed, players will be able to pick up the quest for Winterbite.

How to Get Winterbite

In order to get Winterbite, players will need to complete Strider. Unlike the rest of the quests that players had to do previously, the second step of this quest is partially time gated. Players must complete a Terminal Overload activity and unlock the Terminal Overload Key Chest at each of the three zones in Neomuna. Terminal Overload is active in only one zone per day, so it will take players three days to complete this stage of the quest.

Beyond that, the rest of the quest is pretty straightforward. First, players will need to kill Cabal enemies throughout Neomuna. Whether it is in public spaces or a Lost Sector on Neomuna, any Cabal kill will count. In addition, this step of the quest requires a clear of the Gilded Precept Lost Sector. Next, players will need to restore the last monument in the Hall of Heroes and speak to the Archivist. The final step is to go to Maya's Retreat and shut down Confluxes while killing any Vex in the area as well. With the final step completed, players simply need to return to the Hall of Heroes to claim Winterbite.

Destiny 2 is available now on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
