Destiny 2's yearly Halloween event, the Festival of the Lost (FOTL), is underway in its second week. Players have plenty of goodies to chase, such as the new mech armor and weapons, but also previous rewards like last year's Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle.

Players have less than two weeks to obtain this limited-time weapon before it leaves until next Halloween. This guide will help Destiny 2 players earn the Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle.

How To Get The Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle

Currently, only one activity in the game will reward players with a copy of Jurassic Green, Haunted Sectors. Last year, Bungie introduced Haunted Lost Sectors as the new FOTL activity, where players must venture inside to find and defeat a small army of Headless Ones. Headless Ones are giant Hive Knights with their heads replaced by glowing Pumpkins.

Players must find and defeat at least ten of these mini-bosses until the boss of the Lost Sector itself appears. After the final boss is defeated, players will be rewarded with various goodies, such as Candy, Glimmer, and, most importantly, copies of either the Jurassic Pulse Rifle or the Braytech Werewolf Auto Rifle. Some players can be lucky enough to earn multiple copies of both.

Players can continuously play the activity until it eventually leaves on Tuesday, Nov. 8, when FOTL ends. Now that players know how to hunt for the weapon, it's time to discuss the God Roll they should be looking for in the gun.

What Is The God Roll For Jurassic Green?

Unlike the Braytech Werewolf Auto Rifle, the Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle has a great selection of perks that are good for both PVE and PVP activities. For the PVE God Roll, players should look for Subsistence and Incandescent. Subsistence partially reloads the magazine after rapidly defeating enemies, while Incandescent applies Scorch damage to nearby enemies that are defeated. It's a fantastic pairing for mowing down waves of enemies with a Solar 3.0 build.

On the other hand, for a PVP setup, the God Roll players should look for is Perpetual Motion and Multi-Kill Clip. Perpetual Motion grants the weapon bonus stability, handling, and reload while the wielder is in motion, while Multi-Kill clip gives a damage bonus upon reloading after a kill. Overall, it's a solid pair that can put in some work in the Crucible.

As far as the Barrel, Magazine, and Masterwork go, players should primarily focus on Range, as the weapon naturally has a good Stability and Handling stat. Therefore, players should look for Corkscrew Rifling, Armor Piercing Rounds, and a Range Masterwork. This applies to both the PVE and PVP God Rolls.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
