With just days to go before Destiny 2: Forsaken finally launches The Last Wish raid, there’s no doubt that a plethora of Guardians are doing their best in order to reach the recommended power level for the forthcoming event. While it provides a more difficult challenge, one could always buff their character by completing Heroic versions of Public Events for more potent rewards. Speaking of which, those who wish to turn the game’s Ether Ritual Public Event into its Heroic iteration would do well to follow along from here on out.
As seen below in the video from the YouTuber and Destiny 2 fan known as “Esoterickk”, triggering Trigger the Heroic Ether Ritual Public Event is simple enough to do for those whose Guardians are up to the task. First, players have to kill three different Dredge Chieftans, with the death of each causing masses of Concentrated Ether to float toward the middle of the area. Guardians will need to shoot and kill each floating piece of Concentrated Ether before they reach the middle to trigger the Heroic version of the event. Missing a single one will cause the normal event to continue.
After all of the Dredge Chieftans and Concentrated Ether masses are kaput, Destiny 2 will prompt players with a message telling them that they have joined a Heroic event subtitled “The Baron Returns”. Essentially, the Baron in the Heroic Ether Ritual Public Event is a gigantic monster named “Reanimated Machinist” and the result of the Scorn summoning it up after Guardians just spent time laying them to waste.
All things considered, there are plenty of ways other than finishing the Heroic Ether Ritual Public Event to increase the power level of one’s Guardian in Destiny 2 before The Last Wish drops later this week. For instance, players can complete Week 2’s Ascendant Challenge, the Heroic Rift Generator Public Event, and much more. Of course, for those in need of a more detailed take on how to beef up Guardians, check out our guide on how to increase a character’s power level over 500.
