Now that seemingly everything related to the Dreaming City has been discovered, Destiny 2 players can finally complete some of their Triumphs, earn new titles, and collect some unique rewards. One such reward is the Harbinger’s Echo, an exotic sparrow that has a Taken design scheme.

Step 1: Unlock the Wish Ender Bow

To unlock the Harbinger’s Echo sparrow, players will need to first acquire the Wish Ender exotic bow. This bow is part of a quest line involving the Shattered Throne dungeon and requires a couple steps. Read our guide for full details on how to get Wish Ender.

Step 2: Destroy Corrupted Eggs in Dreaming City

Once players have Wish Ender they can start breaking the Corrupted Eggs that are scattered around the Dreaming City. There are 40 eggs in total and they can be found in the patrol area, in the Ascendant Challenge, in the Corrupted strike, the Last Wish raid, and the Shattered Throne dungeon.

Because some of these activities rotate on a weekly basis it takes some time to destroy all of the eggs. In essence, players first needed to wait until the full curse week in the Dreaming City (week 3) to get the bow, start destroying every egg possible from that point forward, and then wait until the first two Ascendant Challenges rotated back around to break those egg. If anyone missed a week then they would be waiting a while.

After destroying all of the Corrupted eggs, players will then unlock the Harbinger’s Echo exotic sparrow. Some had speculated that the sparrow also required finding all of the lore collectibles (Ahamkara Bones and Toland sprites) but that doesn’t seem to be the case. However, there is a bug with the unlock that players should be aware of.

Apparently, in order to obtain the Harbinger’s Echo sparrow, players need to pop the Corrupted eggs on the same character. If they do it across multiple characters then the sparrow will not unlock. There are plenty of reports of players that have the triumph for destroying all of the Corrupted eggs but don’t have the sparrow. Bungie is likely investigating the issue and will hopefully have a fix soon.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
