Destiny 2 is no stranger to glitches, whether they give players an edge in PvE or ruin the balance of PvP. The latest discovery is a glitch that will give players unlimited hand cannon ammo, but it requires quite a bit of setup. On top of that, the narrow utility of the glitch shouldn't make it a major problem in the Crucible, which is a good thing given the Crimson Days event is still active.

Guardians can trigger the Destiny 2 glitch on any hand cannon weapon, but only Hunters are capable of pulling it off. First, players need to equip the Lucky Pants leg armor, which has the Illegally Modded Holster. This piece of armor buffs up hand cannon ready speed and initial stability.

The trick is to first hit a precision kill and then reload the weapon. After that, the player quickly pulls out their ghost and puts it away. As long as this is done correctly, the player should not have to reload their hand cannon at all during any boss fight, provided they hit precision shots.

There is no indication by Bungie as to when this glitch will be fixed and some even speculate that this might not even be a glitch at all but is a type of easter egg built into the game. Luckily, getting the precision kill and then pulling off the additional steps will be pretty hard in Crucible, so really this is a fun trick to help take down PvE bosses. Some might say that unlimited ammo defeats the purpose of the game, but for those who don't mind breaking the rules a bit, this glitch is most welcome.

Destiny 2 is also currently running the Crimson Days event, which celebrates Valentine's Day. The event runs until reset on February 20th and Guardians can enjoy the 2v2 PvP event, as well as new rewards including a new ghost shell, a new Sparrow, a new weapon ornament, and a emote. Destiny 2 is also preparing for the upcoming DLC expansion said to be released in May 2018.
