Destiny 2's Season of the Haunted came to a close in terms of its narrative arc after seven weeks, but the Season is still going strong and will conclude on August 22. The Solstice event is returning to Destiny 2 in a new form, as many aspects were reworked to create a different experience while exploring the EAZ and defeating enemies of mankind, all while obtaining a new Seal. Another thing that will keep Season of the Haunted going is the fact that Grandmaster Nightfalls became available yesterday, featuring a high-end PvE challenge for experienced players.

Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes are often considered an unforgiving activity because a single team wipe will cause all participants to be taken back to Orbit and lose their progress in the GM. As such, it's often very important that Destiny 2 players have sufficient ammo to deal with Champions, mini-bosses, and the final boss alike. Resource management is critical in Grandmaster Nightfalls, and that includes revives as well. Yet, players have already discovered an exploit that grants both infinite ammo and infinite revives.

Bungie's latest TWAB went into detail about the return of GM Nightfalls, explaining that there would be a new feature to allow players to get back into the Strike if they are somehow disconnected. This "rejoin" feature wasn't available in the past, and it now makes it more forgiving to tackle GMs because Destiny 2 players can log back in after an error or other issues. However, Destiny 2 YouTuber and content creator Misleading shared a video that showcases a new exploit with the rejoin feature that allows players to come back into the GM without having to be revived and also spawning in with full ammo.

This is done by force-closing the game while players are not the fireteam leaders, then launching Destiny 2 again and confirming when the Rejoin Activity screen pops up. Players will respawn in the Grandmaster Nightfall alive, with the same amount of revives, and with full Special and Heavy ammo, regardless of how much ammo they had left before closing the game. This means that players can virtually cheese GM Nightfalls all the time, spending their Special and Heavy ammo and then just logging back in to have full ammo once again. This exploit works everywhere in any GM, including in boss rooms.

Still, it's possible to even complete GM Nightfalls solo, albeit it requires fully optimized builds and great weapons to do. Although it's not a Grandmaster Nightfall, recently a Destiny 2 player shared a no-damage-taken Master Nightfall run, showing that this exploit is not needed to tackle high-end activities. Yet, Bungie will likely have to fix it as soon as possible in order not to ruin the GM experience.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
