Because Destiny 2 is a looter shooter with a sci-fi setting that the developers call "space magic," it means it's got a rather unique premise when it comes to gameplay and its narrative as well. In terms of gameplay, this translates into players wielding the powers of greater forces of the Light or the Darkness, which means that they get to master the elements to defeat their enemies through abilities and Supers, as well as gunplay. In terms of storyline, Destiny 2's saga of Light and Dark is one of the cornerstones of the game's lore.

Thus, it's not uncommon for Destiny 2 players to experience epic moments where a handful of Supers can change the course of the game - at least for a while. These tales are some of the most cherished among the community, as well as those moments where players have a lot of fun alone or together, especially if something special happens in very hard activities like Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes or Raids.

A Reddit user by the name of Aloe_saponaria shared a Destiny 2 GIF they found on their computer, which is a short sequence from the Garden of Salvation Raid with 12 players, all using Thundercrash on a regular Vex Goblin for fun. This GIF was enough for the Redditor to download the game and start their journey in Destiny 2, being inspired by the awesome and grand moment portrayed in the GIF. Normally it's not possible for Destiny 2 players to launch Raids with eleven more people as Fireteams are limited to 6 players, but there was a glitch a while ago where Guardians could launch 12-player Raids, instead.

The original poster of the GIF also showed up in the Reddit thread, and they were pleased to hear that their short video was enough to inspire someone else to download and play Destiny 2. But then again, this is something that Destiny 2 is renowned for, and Bungie even shared some players' wholesome stories and heroic moments as part of its 30th Anniversary celebration video.

Destiny 2's community is also known to get together on occasions such as celebrating milestones or defending their favorite characters and the game itself from criticism. As such, it doesn't come as a surprise that Destiny 2 players voted Saint-14 as their favorite character in elimination polls held on Reddit, after two whole weeks of voting. Things like this make the game unique, and it's no wonder that players want to try it at some point.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
