With Season of the Chosen coming to an end soon, Destiny 2 players need to complete 10 seasonal Triumphs to get the Chosen Seal and Title before it is gone for good on May 11. Guardians will need to play lots of activities, including Battlegrounds missions, the Presage exotic mission, and the Proving Ground Strike.
Season of the Chosen has been one of the best seasons for Destiny 2 so far. Players have praised the strong seasonal story quest and fun activities which sets a high standard for future seasons to meet.
Destiny 2 players can unlock the Chosen Seal and equip the relevant title once they have completed the 10 Season of the Chosen Triumphs before May 11.
Path of the Chosen:
To complete this Triumph, players need to get through the entire seven-part seasonal story quest. This quest is always titled ‘Challenger’s Proving’ each week and generally requires Guardians to collect Cabal gold, destroy a Tribute Chest in a Battlegrounds mission, and visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M, along with a few unique objectives.
Vendor Upgrades:
Players complete this Triumph by unlocking all 21 upgrades for the Hammer of Proving. Upgrade unlocks are awarded when players rank up their War Table reputation which can be earned by completing certain Seasonal Challenges in each week.
Players should check which of their incomplete Seasonal Challenges award War Table reputation and focus on those to rank up the War Table quickly. The Contender’s Ascent challenges, which are completed by finishing the Challenger’s Proving story quest for a given week, always give War Table reputation but plenty of other challenges do as well.
Extreme Focus:
This Triumph requires players to focus Tier III Umbral Engrams which can be a bit of a grind to get. Players will need to have a Tier III focusing lens on their Prismatic Recaster unlocked, an Umbral Engram to use, and five Hammer Charges. Players earn Hammer Charges whenever they smash a Tribute Chest at the end of a Battlegrounds missions, so players will need to do several of these missions to get enough charges.
Chosen Mods:
To complete this Triumph, players need to get all six of the Season of the Chosen Elemental Well armor mods available from the War Table’s rewards section. The mods work on a three-week cycle, with two mods available each week for three Mod Components.
All Battlegrounds Missions:
For this Triumph, Destiny 2 players need to complete the four Battlegrounds missions at least once. Players will complete this Triumph just by playing through the Challenger’s Proving story quest. Every mission is also available in the Battlegrounds playlist under the Vanguard node on the Destinations page.
Proven Champions:
Players need to defeat four Champions in Battlegrounds missions to complete this Triumph. Players will need to do this through the Battlegrounds playlist as Champions do not spawn in the normal versions of each mission.
Eliminate Caiatl’s Cabal:
This Triumph will require players to defeat 10 different elite Cabal enemies found within the Proving Ground Strike. The player will need to complete the Strike several times and it can be loaded up directly on the Nessus map page at the top.
Valus Ozysas and Ignovun are always present in this Proving Ground so they are impossible to miss. The other eight are split into two groups of four with each group appearing in specific areas of the Strike. For the vehicle bay section, Val Trekitus, Val Cunqu’us, Val Kladior and Optus Taxaat have a chance of spawning.
For the power core section, Val Cempas, Val Vinca'ar, Val Veorthas, and Optus Vocca can appear. Players just need to contribute to killing any of these elite Cabal for them to be crossed off the Triumph list and do not need to get the killing blow.
Graven Tales:
For this Triumph, players need to unlock the Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Scout Rifle, which is done by completing the Presage exotic mission. Players need to start the quest by finding a secret area in the Arms Dealer Strike, and eventually, they will gain access to Presage on the Tangled Shore map.
All the Shattered Pieces:
This Triumph will be a secret until it is completed. During the Presage missions, players need to scan 15 items aboard the Glykon ship. This is a time-gated Triumph and has to be completed over the course of three weeks as the 15 items are split into three sets.
There are few other Triumphs and Seasonal Challenges that involve scanning objects in Presage, including the Captain’s Log Seasonal Challenge from week three.
Salvager’s Salvo Armament:
For this Triumph, players need to unlock the Season of the Chosen pursuit weapon, the Salvager’s Salvo Grenade Launcher. It is unlocked by completing a quest that players can pick up from Banshee-44 and tasks player with getting a lot of Grenade Launcher kills and completing activities throughout Destiny 2.
Once all 10 Triumphs have been completed, players will be able to inspect the Chosen Seal to unlock it and then equip the Title.
