Season of the Splicer introduces Destiny 2 players to a host of new activities, weapons, and features. If Guardians aren't trying to tie their fashion game together through universal ornaments, chances are they're looking for the next pinnacle weapon worth hours of endless grinding.

Those Guardians definitely got what they wished for, as Destiny 2 players have the Null Composure to work towards. The quest itself is short, though Guardians will find that the grind is definitively back-breaking. Still, some claim that the fusion rifle is the best in the game as of now, so even the casual Guardians might want to give this one a shot. No worries though, as this guide also gives some tips on completing it as soon as possible.

How To Get The Null Composure In Destiny 2

As said before, it's pretty straightforward but will definitely take some time to finish if not done thoughtfully. Essentially, Guardians are required to defeat targets in strikes, Crucible, and Gambit activities to gain points, as well as complete said playlist activities. Luckily, the grind for a fusion rifle is best complemented with a fusion rifle. That is, the utmost bonus progress is given if enemies are eliminated with fusion rifles, as well as disintegrations and Solar damage.

For newer players, disintegrations are defined as kills in which Guardians completely vaporize enemies rather than just causing death by regular explosions or bullets. Special deaths like these are only possible using abilities, or weapons that channel Solar, Void, or Arc energy. That means all evidence points to a Solar fusion rifle as the best way to speedrun this quest, as it fulfills all three requirements for bonus progression. There's even more progress to be earned from defeating Stasis opponents, a good thing given that the subclass currently dominates Crucible.

As for the available Solar fusion rifles, there aren't many choices. If Guardians don't have the Last Wish raid exotic One Thousand Voices in their inventory, the only other alternative is the Trinary System. That sits behind another grind as a possible Gambit reward. Otherwise, the best alternatives are energy fusion rifles like Glacioclasm or Zealot's Reward, or even Solar weapons like Devil's Ruin.

All of these contribute to the first progress bar, although the second relies solely on completing the aforementioned activities. That means no leaving early once that final fusion rifle disintegration is fulfilled, although it at least opens up using a more favorable weapon.
