Destiny 2's Season of Opulence introduced the Menagerie, a new six-man matchmade activity to be completed in Bungie's sci-fi first-person shooter, but it is constantly getting nerfs and tweaks from the developer. Recent fixes include the removal of the Menagerie Chest exploit and the Telesto cheese in the Gauntlet, but it seems the recent Gauntlet patch missed one key exploit that many Guardians may want to take advantage of.
The Telesto cheese required Destiny 2 players to shoot a sticky projectile over the finish line, and each projectile would count as a Guardian finishing the encounter, adding to the overall score. This was also a solid method for getting the Flawless Run triumph, but, with it being recently fixed by Bungie, there is another exploit that can also help those struggling with clearing the Gauntlet.
For this method, Destiny 2 players will need to have a grenade launcher. Unlike with the Telesto exploit, which required sticky projectiles, any grenade launcher will work here. Once players cross the finish line, they should shoot the ground with the grenade launcher to instantly die. Somehow, this will count as 10 finishes, which means that only two guardians need to make it to the finish line to end the encounter. This also trigger the aforementioned secret triumph for the Gauntlet.
Of course, players who have yet to earn said triumph will want to do so quickly, as Bungie will likely fix this exploit before long. However, as it stands, this Destiny 2 Gauntlet Menagerie exploit isn't the only one in line to be fixed by Bungie, as players have recently discovered a new Destiny 2 infinite Super glitch. It is only tied to the Tribute Hall and the Bad Juju exotic quest, "The Other Side," though.
Speaking of Bad Juju and exploits, there is also a cheese for getting Bad Juju tributes without having to complete any triumphs. It remains to be seen which of the aforementioned exploits Bungie goes after first, but players should expect all of these to be patched at some point in the future.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox, with a Stadia version in development.
