Destiny 2 developer Bungie is starting a new charity event this month called Game2Give with incentives for those who donate, including some exclusive in-game items. While this will be the inaugural event for Game2Give, the two-and-a-half-week event will benefit Bungie's charity arm, the Bungie Foundation's long-running charity iPads for Kids, and Children's Miracle Network.

The purpose of the event is for fans to stream Destiny 2 and raise money during the stream to contribute to the charity. There are two main ways to get involved. The first is for people who want to host a stream and raise money during their stream. The second is for anyone to donate to the charity or any of the streamers involved with the event.

Those who donate can get exclusive in-game items depending on how much they donate, including an emblem and a Ghost shell. Anyone who donates $10 will get the Mist Blossoms emblem while those who donate $50 will get both the emblem and the first-ever charity exotic Ghost shell, called the Gilded Shell. Beyond that, a $100 donation will also enter those who donate into a drawing to win some physical Destiny items such as collectible figures, a chess set, vinyl soundtrack, the Grimoire Anthology, and more.

There are also those rewards and more for those who stream during the event, which runs from October 24th to November 10th. Streamers earn rewards for reaching different fundraising milestones, which include the emblem and Ghost shell in-game items. But there are also milestone goals that get streamers entered into drawing to win tours of Bungie's studio in Bellevue, Washington, a pair of the limited edition Destiny x Palladium boots, and more with the top three overall fundraisers earning hotel and airfare to the fan-event GCX 2020 (formerly known as GuardianCon).

Those who want to stream can sign up now at the Game2Give website, as well as those who want to donate for those in-game items. For those who donate starting now, codes for the emblem and Ghost shell will start being distributed on October 29th. 100% of donations go directly towards the iPads for Kids program and donations are tax-deductible. It will be interesting to watch this charity as Bungie has a history of raising massive amounts for charity in the past.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
