Destiny 2 has been a longtime staple in the MMO list of games for its vast universe and variety of gameplay mechanics. Another one of these appeals being that fans of the game are constantly looking for the best weapons in Destiny 2 to efficiently take down bosses with large health pools.

Recently, a new video has been released showcasing a newfound way to take down raid bosses with minimal effort. Traditionally, the most common way of taking down bosses was to group up and attack them with Slug Shotguns, not it appears that Fusion Rifle weapons are the new way to go.

The video released by the YouTube account named "Scrub" showcased them and a group of friends using a combination of a Null Composure Fusion Rifle with the High-Impact Reserves trait to tear multiple bosses in the game to shreds. Even the Templar, one of the most infamous bosses in Destiny 2, couldn't handle the barrage of bullets.

In the video, Scrub and their friends commented about how easy it was to take down one of the hardest bosses in Destiny 2. By comparing the original method of the Slug Shotguns, the team commented that it did take about the same amount of time, if not slower. However, in terms of how much easier it was to take down the boss, the Null Composure Fusion Rifle method was much more efficient since all they had to do was hold down the trigger.

Scrub and their team also used this strategy on the Vault of Glass boss, which proved to have the same outcome. This method requires no complicated swaps or running around in the middle of battle. Scrub does show a comparison video in the top left corner of a speedrun strat using the shotgun versus one of their best runs, and the Slug Shotgun does win in a couple of seconds. One important thing to notice is that the Slug Shotgun video was using many complicated maneuvers while Scrub and their team were basically standing in place.

Another way to make this method more efficient is to apply Anarchy whenever possible, shoot fusion rounds, and throwing magnetic grenades every couple of shots. So far, it seems that fans who want to take down bosses easily without dedicating the insane amount of time into speedrun starts might prefer this method. Who knows, if professional speedrunners can push this method even further, they might be able to push it even further and make it even better.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
