Destiny 2 Bundle Packs in Year 1 DLC and Forsaken for $60

Activision and Bungie officially offer a Destiny 2 bundle pack that not only includes the science fiction shooter's Forsaken DLC, but also its Year One content for $60.

It's no major secret that Guardians everywhere are champing at the bit in anticipation for Destiny 2's forthcoming Forsaken expansion, and they don't have that much longer to wait until the DLC comes out in a little more than a month from now. For those who are looking to dive into the game for the first time, though, Activision and Bungie are offering a great deal for newcomers by offering a bundle pack called the Legendary Collection that includes the base game, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken for just $60.

As seen in the Lengendary Collection trailer below, the Destiny 2 bundle will not only include the aforementioned expansions, but also it will provide fans who pre-order the Forsaken package with a dynamic theme based on the add-on, and loot from Cayde's Exotic Stash. Speaking of which, the cache of gear from the late Hunter Vanguard will include the Ace of Spades Last Hand Exotic Ornament, Queen of Hearts Exotic Ship, Standoff Exotic Emote, and Shades of Cayde-6 Armor Shaders.

Without a doubt, the Legendary Collection is a great deal for those just starting their journey as a Guardian in Destiny 2, as it will afford them some time to start working their way toward hitting the somewhat steep level cap for a given character in Forsaken. Should a diehard fan want to go all-in, though, Bungie is also offering the Complete Collection for pre-order at $100, which not only includes all of the contents of the Legendary Collection, but also the Forsaken Annual Pass and The Awoken Legend Set, which offers a special ornament, emblem, and Ghost shell.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see how Destiny 2 fans respond to the seemingly sumptuous amount of content coming in Forsaken, as it introduces an all-new story, a new Legendary Bow weapon archetype, nine new Super abilities, new activities, quests, locations, Strikes, a Raid, and of course, a surplus of new weapons and gear. Hopefully, for Bungie's sake and for the community at large, the studio manages to knock it out of the park with Forsaken.

Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion releases on September 4, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
