Bungie promised players that the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 would contain plenty of secrets for them to find and the developer certainly seems to have delivered on that front. From exotic quests like Malfeasance and Wish Ender, to hidden cat statues around The Dreaming City, it seems like there's always something new being discovered each week. The same holds true for this past week when another hidden wish plate was discovered and immediately put to use inside of the Last Wish Raid.

During a Gambit match on the new Dreaming City map that unlocked when the Last Wish raid in Destiny 2 was first beaten, a player by the name of MadCatz1999 came across a brand new wish plate. After lining up the symbols and activating them in the Last Wish raid, Wish 10 unlocked which changed the dialogue and commentary to be from The Drifter. Wish 10 follows along the same lines as Wish 9, which ultimately changed the dialogue during the raid to be from Failsafe, the dual personality AI from Nessus.

What's interesting is that after the newest Gambit map unlocked, players pored over it searching high and low for secrets and ultimately coming up empty-handed. As it turns out, this plate was well hidden behind a crystal which covered nearly every viewing angle until the third round when it then vanished. MadCatz then had to climb to a specific point on the map, peek through a specific location, and then jump in order to actually see it using a sniper rifle. Dataminers found coordinates for a general location where symbols could be found, but without a way to see coordinates in-game, MadCatz could only guess as to where it would be.

Since their discovery a few weeks ago, players have continued to pore over every inch of the game in order to find new raid plates. Each plate features a different assortment of symbols that can be used almost like an in-game cheat code during the first section of the raid. Each combination of symbols provides a different gameplay effect, called a wish, in this case, which can unlock a new chest, grant an emblem, change the raid dialogue, or teleport players to a specific part of the raid. Wish 13 goes further than the rest by offering a more difficult challenge where if one person dies, the whole fireteam gets sent back to orbit.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
