Raiding is perhaps one of the best and most challenging parts of the Destiny 2 experience, whether it be a full-blown raid like Leviathan or one of the raid lairs. Forsaken brings a brand-new raid experience located in the heart of the Dreaming City, and that raid is officially named Last Wish. The Last Wish raid goes live on September 14 at 10 a.m. PDT for those wishing to take down the raid bosses on day one.

Last Wish is the second major raid for Destiny 2, and tasks Guardians with traveling to the heart of the Dreaming City to cleanse whatever corruption lies there. A dangerous beast supposedly dwells at the center of this sacred Awoken land, and it seems that the Guardians are the only ones who can put an end to whatever evil is taking over the Dreaming City.

The name Last Wish will be familiar to fans who read the leak last week, as it was the name Reddit user Ginsor gave as part of the leak. It seems that perhaps this leak was true, as it also confirmed the Gambit ranking system well-before Bungie announced it in the This Week At Bungie blog post last week. If the rest of the leak is to be believed, then perhaps fans already know who the raid boss will be. Given the name of the raid, Destiny fans may already see the connection to the infamous Wish Dragons of Destiny lore.

Outside of the Last Wish raid, the Dreaming City holds plenty of secrets and activities for players to take part in. The Dreaming City features a new Escalation Protocol-like activity called The Blind Well, where players can earn new armor and weapons exclusive to the Dreaming City. According to Bungie, the Dreaming City is the biggest endgame experience they have ever crafted, so even if players are not taking on the Last Wish raid, they are sure to have something to do in the Awoken homeland.
