With Cayde-6's death taking place in Destiny 2's forthcoming Forsaken expansion, it makes sense for Activision and Bungie to commemorate the Hunter Vanguard in as many ways as possible, especially since the character has been a fan-favorite ever since the original game. Now, the publisher and developer have decided to team up with GameStop to memorialize Cayde-6 with a new Forsaken DLC bundle pack that includes a statue of the beloved Guardian.

Those who wish to obtain the collectible will need to act fast, as the Destiny 2: Forsaken - GameStop Bundle in which it's included is a limited edition item. The total contents of the $100 package includes the Legendary Collection, a Modern Icons "Cayde's Last Stand" Statue, as well as an exclusive emblem. Unfortunately, though, the video game retailer doesn't provide any official product specifications in regards to the height, weight, or materials used for the displayable figure.

As it so happens, this GameStop-exclusive Destiny 2 bundle for Forsaken isn't the only item that Guardians can acquire to keep the spirit of Cayde-6 alive through collectibles, as the online retailer is also offering a Cayde-6 Collector's Box filled with unique merchandise based on the character. That said, though, it's important to note that unlike the Destiny 2: Forsaken - GameStop Bundle, the Cayde-6 Collector's Box will not include a code for the game or the Forsaken expansion.

While Cayde-6's demise will surely be a sore spot for many going into Destiny 2's Forsaken DLC, there's no doubt that Guardians are champing at the bit when it comes to finally being able to experience the action-RPG's next major expansion. After all, with a boatload of fresh content on the way such as the highly anticipated new raid, the Crucible game type called Gambit, fresh weapons and gear, and more, it's difficult to not see tons of promise in Forsaken.

Destiny 2's Forsaken DLC is slated to release on September 4, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
