The Festival of the Lost is active in Destiny 2 right now until November 19th, and while much of the event is focused on playing the event's Haunted Forest activity, collecting masks, and unlocking the Braytech Werewolf event weapon, as well as the other Eververse rewards, there are plenty of decorations that have been added to the Tower to usher in the festivities.

Among those decorations are some secrets and Easter eggs that players will want to swing by and check out before the end of the event. Some will give players a reward while others are just a fun thing to see during Destiny 2's latest live event.

Climb the Festival Tree

When players start the Festival of the Lost this year, they do so by checking in with Eva Levante under the Festival tree. While it may not seem obvious at first, players can actually climb the tree to its top. Along the way, players will find Motes that will award Candy and Chocolate Strange Coins. Here's a quick guide from CrimsonMune showing the path to take to scale the tree.

Spooky Ghouls in the Tower

There are a few places in the Tower where some floating ghouls reside. This fun Easter egg can be found in two main places. In the Bazaar area of the Tower where Ikora Rey is located, take a look into the ramen shop on the right side of the area.

Then, head down to the stairwell underneath Hawthorne, where Benedict used to be before the robot moved to the Annex with the release of Season of Opulence. Players will need to crouch or slide under the bottom right corner of the boarded-up doorway, but once they do and continue down the stairs, they will find an entire gaggle of ghouls.

"Dark Orbit" Emblem

There is a secret emblem in Festival of the Lost that players could easily overlook because it is tied to Destiny's reward system outside of the game. The Dark Orbit emblem is simple enough to earn—all players have to do is complete Eva Levante's introductory quest for Festival of the Lost, which involves buying the Masquerader's Helmet from Eva Levante for 100 Glimmer, completing a run of Destiny 2's Haunted Forest, and then returning to Eva Levante.

After that, players need to have an account on Bungie's website and be signed up for Bungie Rewards program. Once the quest is over, players need to redeem the emblem on their Rewards panel on Bungie.net and then the emblem will be available to retrieve from the Collections tab. It may require a restart of the game if players are currently logged in, so if the emblem doesn't show up, players should log out and the log back in for the emblem to appear.

While players are on the Rewards page, also be sure to pick up the free Powerful reward as well if not already redeemed. And take a look at the life-sized Hive sword replica that can be purchased by those that finish the game's new dungeon.

"Sweet Dreams" Emblem

The Sweet Dreams emblem is another emblem that players may not easily deduce from where to earn it. But, most players will probably stumble into earning the emblem if they are participating in Festival of the Lost this year. The Sweet Dreams emblem drops after earning 1,000 pieces of Candy. Candy can be earned through virtually every activity during Festival of the Lost by having the Masquerader's Helmet equipped. And players will need 1,000 pieces of Candy anyway in order to get their hands on the Braytech Werewolf auto rifle.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
