Destiny 2 currently has a new event active in-game called Faction Rally, where players pledge to one of three factions to earn tokens that can be traded in for weapons and armor. There are a set of weapons unique to each factions that players can get their hands on, but it appears that these are just a portion of each factions ultimate arsenal.

Fans discovered a number of other faction-specific weapons in the Destiny 2 database, which almost surely means that these weapons will find their way into the loot pool for the game's next round of the Faction Rally.

Here's a look at a number of the weapons for each faction:

There's no information about when the next Faction Rally will happen, but it will likely be a regularly occurring event, with most theories being that it will go live during one week of every month. The game puts a cap on the amount of levels a character can gain with a faction (or it might be a bug). After that, weapons and armor stop dropping and the only thing gained out of faction engrams are shaders. So, clearly each time the Faction Rally appears, avid collectors will want to jump in and level up to the max.

The addition of cycling weapons during a Faction Rally could be a worthy incentive for players to come back each time to add to their personal collection. Some of these weapons found in the database could also be the "Powerful Weapon" as developer Bungie is calling it. That is, the weapon that will serve as the final reward and be offered by whichever faction wins the Faction Rally. Those weapons are sold for 1,000 Glimmer to Guardians pledged to that faction, while everyone else will have to shell out a hefty 50,000 Glimmer for the same weapon.

Regardless of however things shake out this Faction Rally, it's good to know that there is more loot waiting in the wings for the next time the event comes around.

Destiny 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, and releases on October 24, 2017 for PC.
