Over the remainder of Season of Dawn, Destiny 2 players are likely to spend a lot of time donating resources to a handful of destinations, namely the four planetary obelisks and the Tower obelisk. This is all in service of completing the Empyrean Restoration effort, which is the final key component of the Season and presumably the precursor to Season of the Worthy in March.

But while Destiny 2 players might be spending a lot of time spamming the same button, there are a few inconveniences in their way. Luckily, one community member has shared a helpful tip that will make the whole process a little less tedious.

RELATED: Destiny 2 Players Should Be Careful About Polarized Fractaline

While donating Light-Infused Fractaline to any planetary Obelisk, players should take their Polarized Fractaline out of their inventory and put it in the Vault. This will help eliminate the weird UI switching that occurs anytime a Destiny 2 Obelisk upgrades and tries to offer a legendary engram. Basically, it keeps the prompt in the same spot so that players can spam Light-Infused Fractaline upgrades instead of having to move their cursor every so often. On the surface, it may not seem like much, but when the Empyrean Foundation will require an estimated 2 years' worth of Destiny 2 player effort in order to complete, any precious seconds saved will be worth it.

As part of the Empyrean Foundation event, players will want to upgrade their planetary Obelisks using an item called Light-Infused Fractaline. This consumable is sold from the Tower Obelisk for 20,000 Glimmer and 10 Legendary Shards and is one of the most helpful items for Empyrean Foundation. With it, players can upgrade the Resonance on any Obelisk by a power of 1, which, in turn, increases the Tower Obelisk's weekly reserves.

Increasing Resonance might not seem very important but it's essential for those Destiny 2 players hoping to donate large amounts of Polarized Fractaline over the next few weeks. The higher the resonance of the planetary Obelisks, the more Fractaline a player can “withdraw” each week before reset and then donate back to the Empyrean Foundation.

The Destiny 2 community is currently working on Stage 4 of Empyrean Foundation, which will reportedly require reaching 1.2 Billion Polarized Fractaline donated. While the numbers and the effort may seem daunting, the community seems to be breezing through the event faster than expected. Clearly, the potential of bringing back Trials of Osiris has a lot of players willing to go the extra mile.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
